As soon as you share your engagement news, everyone seems eager to tell you about all the wedding planning that awaits. But before you dive into all the details, here’s one crucial piece of advice: ENJOY Your Engagement! Seriously, take a moment to bask in the joy of this new chapter.
ENJOY THE ENGAGEMENT
This is such a special time, so first things first: call your closest family and friends, let them share in your happiness, and soak in all the excitement! Make sure that beautiful ring fits perfectly—you don’t want to risk anything happening to it. Then, go out and celebrate! Whether it’s a romantic dinner for two, a casual night out with friends, or a small gathering with family, make sure you take the time to mark this moment.
The key here? Don’t rush into planning. It’s easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of wedding prep, but give yourself at least a week or two to simply enjoy being engaged. There will be plenty of time to dive into the details later.

Think about the kind of wedding you envision—are you dreaming of a cosy winter ceremony, a breezy summer celebration, or perhaps a destination wedding at a vineyard or a beach? Maybe a simple backyard affair feels like the perfect fit for you.
The options are endless, and starting to narrow them down will give you a clearer picture of what feels right for your wedding. It’s all about figuring out what you don’t want so that you can discover what you do!
HOW MANY GUESTS DO YOU WANT TO INVITE TO YOUR WEDDING ?
Next up: the guest list. This is where things can get tricky. Do you want a small, intimate gathering with just your closest friends and family? Or are you imagining a big celebration with over 100 guests? Sit down together and start drafting a list of people you want to invite.
